The Lagos State Ministry of Environment has started the construction of a drainage system on our original school ground. This should help prevent the challenge of flooding faced annually during the wet season.
A couple of months ago, the EXCO wrote a letter to the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, pleading for intervention.
They promised to work on it and sent a group of Engineers for physical inspection a few weeks after our communication with them.
Now that the report has been completed and the project approved, work is now in earnest and should be completed soon.
Following the satisfactory end of this project, our focus will shift to SCRIPS who has already awarded the contract for the construction of a two-storey block, which will contain 18 classrooms.
